About

Jakob Berg

1958-2008

Among the Danish furniture companies, it was especially Trip Trap Furniture, SC Furniture and Schou Andersen Furniture that was Industrial Designer Jacob’s partner until he died 3rd April 2008. But the range unfolds globally with Jacob’s foreign producers: in Sweden, Latvia, Portugal, Egypt, Costa Rica, in Vietnam, and not least in Bolivia, where cooperation was shaped as a successful Danida project.

Several of the horizontal furniture reveals the hard-working Jacob’s longing for earthly happiness in hammock relaxed resting postures, but as a whole plays his ergonomic thoughtfulness with social reflection.
